GIB CAREY

Gib Carey has been a shareholder of Newport Hospitality Group since its inception and has played an active role supporting the management team on a range of strategic and operational projects over the years.

Completing his undergraduate degree in economics at Yale and attaining his MBA at Harvard, the primary focus of Gib’s career has been in management consulting. He is currently an Advisory Partner with Bain & Company in the Boston office. Since joining Bain in 1985, he has worked across a wide range of clients and industries on growth strategies, merger integrations and business transformations.

When not in the midst of projects at NHG or Bain, Gib can be found working on repairs and improvements to his 1920s home in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
